Every new task added updated the state and re-rendered the UI automatically. Local Storage Learned how to persist data in the browser using Local Storage. This was a game-changer because it made the app feel more real and user-friendly. Props & Event Handling Explored how to pass data between components using props. Implemented event handling (like adding/deleting tasks) in a React-friendly way. 💡 Why This Project Was Important While it’s a small project, this Todo List app laid the foundation for my React learning journey. It helped me: Build confidence with React syntax. Understand the flow of data in React applications. Get comfortable with hooks, state, and props. But the hardest question came right after my degree was done: “What next?” It sounds like a simple question, but trust me, it’s not. The moment I finished my last paper, people started asking me—friends, family, relatives, even neighbors—“Ab kya karega?” “Job mila?” “Further studies?” “Startup banayega?” “Freelancing karega ya MCA karega?” And honestly, I don’t have a clear answer. I don’t say that because I haven’t tried, but because I’m still figuring it out. I really don’t know exactly what comes next, and that’s the truth. In these three years, I’ve picked up a lot. I’ve learned programming in Java, C++, Python. I’ve built websites using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap. I’ve worked on databases like MySQL and MS Access. I understand both frontend and backend. I’ve done UI/UX design. I’ve worked on real-life projects and practiced a lot. But I’m not an “expert” in just one thing. I genuinely enjoy doing everything. I love coding, I enjoy designing, I feel confident with databases too. And that’s where the confusion begins. I like it all, but I don’t know what to pick as the path. The world outside college is moving fast. Technology changes every day. New frameworks, new AI tools, new languages keep coming. It feels like what you learn today becomes outdated tomorrow. Companies want freshers with experience. Everyone is competing. It’s easy to feel lost, confused, and stuck. I know I have skills, but sometimes even that doesn’t feel enough when there’s so much pressure to “figure it out.” But despite the confusion, I’m trying. I’m not giving up. Every single day, I’m learning. I’m solving coding problems, practicing Java, building mini projects, updating my resume, learning new tools, and applying for jobs. It’s slow. It’s not easy. Some days feel frustrating. Some days feel empty. But I know progress doesn’t always show up immediately. Just because I don’t have a job yet doesn’t mean I’m not working for it. I am. Every single day. There’s a quote I keep close to my heart: “I’m not stuck, I’m just loading.” And it’s true. I’m not lost, I’m just on my way. The journey after college is not a straight road—it’s full of questions, doubts, and waiting. But I believe in myself. I believe in my hard work. I believe in my effort. And I know one thing with full confidence: I will make it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But soon. Because I’m not sitting idle. I’m doing everything I can. I may not have the perfect answer to “What next?”—but I have a strong answer to “Will you make it?” Yes. I will. And to anyone else reading this who feels the same—confused, tired, unsure—just remember: you’re not alone. We’re all figuring it out in our own way.
